Looking back, how would you rate your experience of using the Session Logs site
#Response DateHow and why? (please specify if you can)
.6/5/2008 8:59:00 AMA little buggy at times, constant email validation when email already validated.
.6/5/2008 9:43:00 AMThere is an element of 'posering' in posting session logs online (outside of the project anyway), and in looking at what other people have been up to. I haven't previously recorded sessions, and haven't sought feedback on my efforts, but through using the session logger I received encouragement on a couple of occasions. It's a shame the project ran over a period of the least windsurfing in recent history!
.6/5/2008 7:40:00 PMEasy to use, google maps was a great idea. Auto risizing of the photos would have been useful.
.6/5/2008 9:36:00 PMLove the sport and enjoy reading the wellington sailors logs. Since we get nothing in Auck, at least I get to hear.
.6/5/2008 10:25:00 PMGreat to see who got out where, and see what we Aucklanders were all missing out on. Also motivated me to try and get out more, thought the wind has been pretty average unfortunately.
.6/6/2008 4:05:00 AMfeeling of connectivity with the local/national windsurf community. Quite often don't get to talk to people at beach because their leave pass expires and they rush home. Session logs provides chance for that after session chat over a virtual beer.
.6/6/2008 6:01:00 AMGood to come home from a sess and see who else around the country scored.
.6/6/2008 9:07:00 AMGreat visual interface. Almost too much information on the home page and sometimes got lost nativating around the site.
.6/7/2008 8:10:00 AMDidn't work well in internet explorer v7. Got hung up a lot. Firefox worked okay.
.6/7/2008 10:31:00 PMHardly used it - but well put together and easy to navigate
.6/9/2008 9:40:00 AMTo actually record the feeling that you get when you sail so you can remember the epic sessions.
.6/16/2008 3:48:00 AMEasy to use and navigate. I have always wanted to keep a diary of my sailing and never done it so it was the spark I needed to do it. Very cool.
.6/16/2008 6:07:00 AMeasy, enjoyed promoting my spots
.6/18/2008 10:14:00 AMOnly just started using session logs. Went on holiday, lots of windsurfing but no web access. Lost the link shortly after returning home, along with the registration email. Haven't been sailing much since so only scratched the surface.
.6/18/2008 10:31:00 PMI liked the idea of it and the interaction with other sailors - in some respects this was already happening on Deep Fried, but this took it forward. I like DeepFried as it is a 1 stop shop for windsurf news and interaction. Perhaps the session logs will split the users, and this would be a negative result.
